A Legal Support Assistant is required to join the Family team in Oxford.  The core working hours are Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm. You will be expected to be able to work at our Oxford office a minimum of 4 days a week. Previous administrative or secretarial experience is essential.  Experience within a law firm and particularly a family team would be highly desirable.  The role will consist mainly of audio typing, file management, client contact, accounts assistance, administration and diary management.

The successful candidate will primarily be focused on the needs of the Oxford office, however will also be required to support the rest of the Private Client Business Group across Southampton and London, as and when required.  There are other support members within the wider team and this role will require working in conjunction with them in carrying out the support function across the Practice Group.

The position would suit someone who is reliable, personable, flexible and confident, and someone who is very accurate and has an eye for detail.  The post holder will require experience of dealing with a busy and varied workload with an ability to remain calm under pressure.

Typical Workload
