A Legal Support Assistant is required to join the Succession & Tax team in Southampton.

The core working hours are Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm. You will be expected to be able to work at our Southampton 5 days a week, due to the nature of this role.

Previous administrative or secretarial experience is essential.

Typical Workload

The role will consist mainly of working through the team virtual in-tray, file open and closure, dealing with initial enquiries, organisation client documents, creating archive records and retrieving documents from storage.

The successful candidate will primarily be focused on the needs of the Southampton office, however will also be required to support the rest of the Private Client Business Group as and when required.  There are other support members within the wider team and this role will require working in conjunction with them in carrying out the support function across the Practice Group.

The position would suit someone who is reliable, personable, flexible and confident, and someone who is very accurate and has an eye for detail.  The post holder will require experience of dealing with a busy and varied workload with an ability to remain calm under pressure.
