We have an exciting opportunity for a new qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our thriving Consumer Finance team. The role will be based in our Southampton office but with hybrid working available. You will manage your own case load of finance litigation matters which may include:
- defended/disputed debt recovery matters
- return of goods claims
- innocent purchaser claims
- satisfactory quality disputes
- Judgment enforcement
- ad hoc consumer/B2B finance related disputes
- dealing with trial preparation and/or interim applications
- advising clients in respect of any technical regulatory queries
Practical training will be given to you to assist you with your tasks which will include use of our Case Management Systems and/or client systems, where appropriate.
The successful candidate will be a proactive member of a team with a can-do attitude.

You will have gained previous experience in litigation, possibly gained as part of a training contract or through experience on your journey to becoming a CILEx lawyer.
